TRICARE Supplemental Insurance

VFW members and their family members who have TRICARE or CHAMPVA are eligible to enroll in TRICARE or CHAMPVA Supplement Insurance Plans, administered by Selman Co. These supplemental insurance policies are available through Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Company.

TRICARE is medical insurance available to active-duty service members, retirees and their family members/survivors. TRICARE Supplement Insurance offers additional insurance to help fill any gaps in your medical insurance.

CHAMPVA is sponsored by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to help pay for the cost of medical care for those who are ineligible for TRICARE. CHAMPVA is available to the spouse or widow(er) and to the children of a 100% disabled veteran.
